The Lithium Battery Charger Protection Module (BMS) 3S 60A 12.6V is a high-capacity protection board designed for 3-cell Li-ion and LiPo battery packs. With a continuous discharge current of up to 60A, this module is ideal for high-power applications such as e-bikes, e-scooters, solar storage, robotics, and heavy-duty DIY power systems.
It safeguards your batteries by preventing overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, and short-circuits. In addition, it provides cell balancing to keep all cells at equal voltage levels, ensuring maximum performance, efficiency, and a longer lifespan for the battery pack.
How It Works
The BMS continuously monitors each cell in the 3S battery pack. If any cell exceeds ~4.25V, charging stops automatically to prevent overcharging. If a cell voltage falls below ~2.7V, the system disconnects the load to prevent deep discharge.
With its 60A high-current handling capability, the module can safely power demanding devices such as high-torque motors and inverters. Its short-circuit protection immediately cuts off the circuit during unsafe conditions, while the auto-recovery function allows normal operation to resume once the fault clears. The balancing feature keeps all three cells aligned, maximizing efficiency and safety.
