KY-024 Linear Hall Magnetic Sensor

The KY-024 Linear Hall Magnetic Sensor Module is a highly sensitive magnetic field detector designed for use in a wide range of automation and embedded systems. It operates by detecting the presence, absence, and strength of magnetic fields through a linear Hall-effect sensor. Unlike digital magnetic sensors that offer only binary feedback, the KY-024 provides both analog and digital outputs, allowing for more precise control and measurement in real-time applications.

This module is equipped with an LM393 comparator and an A3144 Hall-effect sensor. The analog output delivers a voltage proportional to the magnetic field strength, enabling accurate measurement of magnetic flux density. The digital output, on the other hand, can be triggered when the magnetic field reaches a defined threshold, which is adjustable via the onboard potentiometer.

The KY-024 is compatible with 3.3V and 5V systems, making it ideal for integration with microcontrollers like Arduino, STM32, ESP8266, and Raspberry Pi. It includes power and signal indicator LEDs for easy status monitoring during operation and calibration.
