4028 IC CMOS BCD-To-Decimal Decoder
The CD4028BE is a BCD-to-decimal decoder IC that converts a 4-bit binary coded decimal input into a one-of-ten decimal output. It activates one of the ten output lines (0 to 9) based on the BCD input ranging from 0000 to 1001. If the input value exceeds the valid BCD range (1010 to 1111), all outputs remain low, preventing invalid output states.
This IC is ideal for driving numeric displays, counters, digital clocks, and other BCD-based applications. With high noise immunity, low static power consumption, and wide voltage operating range, the CD4028 operates efficiently in both TTL and CMOS environments. It is built using CMOS technology, offering compatibility with standard logic systems and ensuring reliable operation in a variety of logic-level applications.
Key Features
