LM339 Quad Voltage Differential Comparator

The LM339 is a quad voltage comparator IC. It contains four independent comparators. Each comparator operates from a single or dual power supply. The voltage range extends from 2 V to 36 V for single supply, or ±1 V to ±18 V for dual supply. It supports wide range of input voltages .

Open-collector outputs are provided. These outputs allow wired-AND configurations. The output can swing to ground. The pull-up resistors  on the output.  It ensures Low power consumption and supports fast time response . Operation is stable over temperature changes.

The IC is commonly used in zero-crossing detectors. It can also be found in level shifters and voltage sensing circuits.   This IC often implements with this IC. Precision is maintained in noisy environments. Reliability is ensured in both analog and digital systems.
