74283 IC 4-Bit Binary Full Adder
The IC 74283 adds two 4-bit binary numbers (A0–A3 and B0–B3) and an input carry (C0) to produce a 4-bit sum (S0–S3) and a final carry-out (C4). It uses a fast carry look-ahead design to reduce propagation delay and increase speed. You can cascade multiple 74283 chips to build adders for larger bit-widths.
The chip supports high-speed arithmetic logic units (ALUs), counters, and digital processors. It works with standard TTL logic levels, drives outputs reliably, and handles data quickly without glitches.
